Jeff Foster

For the past 13 years Jeff Foster has worked with some of the world's largest retailers and financial institutions to define, design and implement e-commerce and retail payment processing and risk management solutions.
In 1998 Jeff Foster co-founded Reston, VA-based Paymentplus, Inc., a payment gateway software company targeting large card-not-present retailers. For five years the company's flagship product, LiveProcessor, led the market for innovation in the e-commerce space, processing the first online ACH transaction, the first CVV transaction, the first transaction in the US that settled in Japanese Yen, the first Level 3 Data transaction, the first Bill Me Later transaction and many others.
Mr. Foster led the marketing, sales, public relations and product development teams for the company and licensed LiveProcessor to Tupperware, RealNetworks, Verizon Wireless, Prudential Insurance, Gateway Computers, NEC Electronics, Research in Motion, Nextel Communications, EDS and over 50 others. In 2002 Mr. Foster and his co-founder, Matt Wixson, sold the company to Retail Decisions (ReD), a London-based, publicly held company specializing in e-commerce solutions for large retailers, telecommunications companies and financial institutions, with offices in the UK, South Africa, Australia and the US.
In his capacity as Executive Vice President for Retail Decisions, Inc., the North American division of the company, Mr. Foster led the sales, marketing and public relations departments for the company, which provides fraud prevention solutions, licensed and service-based payment processing solutions and neural network technology.
During Mr. Foster's tenure with the company, (2002 - 2006), ReD designed and implemented fraud prevention and payment solutions for The Royal Bank of Canada, First Data International, JP Morgan Chase, Google, Sears, Kmart, Wal-Mart, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Netflix, Travelocity, Columbia House, Register.com, Payless Car Rental, SBC Communications, Buy.com, Hotwire.com and many others.
Mr. Foster has been quoted, referenced and featured in various publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Business Journal, Internet Retailer, The Nilson Report, and Credit Card Management in addition to being a sought after speaker within the payments industry. Mr. Foster has appeared as a keynote or featured speaker at more than 50 events around the world and has appeared on Bloomberg Television and ABC News.
